Aubrey Peeples

Aubrey Peeples has been an American actor and singer for more than 20 years. She was best known for the role of Layla Grant on the television drama Nashville (2012), and Claudia Shepard (Sharknado 2013). She also played the lead role of Jerrica Jem Benton in the movie Jem and the Holograms (2015). Aubrey Peeples' parents Wendy and Ashley brought her up in Lake Mary Florida. The younger sister of her is Ally. As a child, Aubrey performed with her school's Orlando Repertory Theatre for ten years. She is a graduate of Lake Mary Preparatory School and was named valedictory for students of the 2012 class as she graduated. Harvard University initially accepted her application, but later agreed to let her into the university for a second entry because she was chosen to play "Nashville". Peeples was a part of Drop Dead Diva (2009) Burn Notice (2007) Austin & Ally And Ally and Ally (2011) Grey's Anatomy (2005) and NecessaryRoughness (1991) as guest star. She was in the made-for television films Ace Ventura Jr.: Pet Detective (2009) and The Good Mother. She played Layla Grant, a major role in The Good Mother, a Nashville second season of the drama. Peeples spoke about her bipolar disorder in an interview for 2019 with NKD Magazine. Indiewire listed Peeples among the most talented actors under the age of 20 in September of 2014.
