Alana and Alyssa
Alana De La Garza has earned a reputation on television. Her parents are from Ireland and Mexico. Her birthplace was in Columbus, Ohio on the 26th of December in 1976. In the next few years, she moved to Texas where she pursued her career in physical therapy in the University of Texas. De La Garza did not keep her place in Texas for long. She soon transferred towards Orlando Florida, where she was able to take on various parts as an actor, including commercials, local independent films, and even a few of the film's. She quickly found her passion for acting even in small roles. In 2001, she emigrated into New York where her first character was on All My Children's daytime soap opera, playing Rosa Santos. In the beginning of 2000, she played tiny roles on JAG Las Vegas and Two and a Half Men. In 2004 she was selected as her first part of a series on The Mountain which was an ephemeral television drama. De La Garza played Maria Serrano, alongside some of the best TV actors such as Barbara Hershey Oliver Hudson Penn Badgley Mitch Pileggi, and Mitch Pilegge. Her most memorable performance was in 2006's Law & Order where she played A.D.A. Connie Rubirosa. She appeared on 85 episodes. Her character on the Law & Order: LA spinoff, which was not long-lasting. De La Garza received nominations for a variety of awards including Best Supporting Actress-TV by Imagen Foundation Awards as well as several ALMA Award nominations. The National Hispanic Media Coalition awarded De La Garza the Impact Award, which is an award for the best performances in a drama television series. In the next few days, De La Garza was cast in CSI Miami in a recurring role. She was cast as Marisol Delko, the spouse of David Caruso's Horatio. Her most recent TV appearance was on NBC's somewhat dark drama Do No Harm as Dr. Lena Solis. It was put on hold after two episodes. Alyssa Milano.............................Alyssa Jayne Milano was born on December 19 1972 in the Bensonhurst section of Brooklyn New York City to fashion designer and talent manager Lin Milano and film-music editor Thomas M. Milano. Her parents are born of Italian origin and also has a younger brother Cory who is ten years older than her. Milano was born into an extremely religious and conservative family. Milano's first professional experience began at seven, after her child's sitter took on an audition. Her audition was amidst over 1000 applicants. Her audition was taken as one of only four girls. Milano made appearances in adverts in both Broadway and on TV, including the American musical adaptation of Jane Eyre.
